Position Summary:

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville is hiring an Administrative Program Coordinator for the Career and Professional Development Office (CPDO). This is a full-time, benefit eligible, project position through at least June 30, 2020, with the potential for permanent status at the end of the term.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with students, employers, faculty, staff and alumni in person, electronically and over the phone, in a fast-paced environment
  • Assist staff in budgeting and purchasing processes
  • Assist Staff with Career Fair registration, marketing, and event set-up
  • Assist Director in hiring and supervising front-desk student workers, including payroll.
  • Co-coordination of the Pioneer Career Closet

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in relatable field or 2-3 years of office experience
  • Experience with or knowledge of general budget or purchasing processes
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Demonstrated willingness to take on additional responsibilities
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member to meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred

  • Experience working in a Higher Education environment
  • Experience with Outlook 360
