Food Service Assistant (Part-Time)

Position Summary:

The Food Services Assistant 1 is a part-time position that will function as the lead worker for the Asian Wok line. This position works closely with head chef and student employees to ensure proper food handling and delivery to customers. The hours for this position vary and will include night and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Prep, set up and tear down of line
  • Prep and prepare menu items for customers
  • Lead, train and monitor student employees in proper food safety and procedures
  • Provide quality customer service to all customers
  • Ensure proper portioning
  • Communicate with Asian Wok Chef on daily needs

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience in food prep and dining service food production
  • Excellent customer service skils
  • Ability to stand 4-5 hours
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask
