Assistant Women's Basketball Coach/Recruiting Coordinator

The division of athletics and recreation is seeking an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach. 

Responsibilities:

Recruiting Coordinator
- Identify, scout, and visit with student-athletes throughout the Tri-State area (as well as nationally) in high schools, camps or combines, and on-campus visits.
- Assist the head coach in planning a recruitment strategy to attract top level, Division III prospects including setting up campus visits, assisting student-athletes with the application process, and implementation of campus resources.

Transformational Experience
- Enhance the student experience as a team liaison to the Pioneer Leadership Institute; Build Alumni Relationships in partnership with the Pioneer Leadership Institute and Division of Athletics and Recreation

Competitive Excellence
- Assist in the administration of the entire program; including assisting with daily practices, game responsibilities and travel
- Support post season opportunities
- Have a vast knowledge of the NCAA Division III philosophy and thorough knowledge of NCAA, conference and institutional rules and conduct the unit within those regulations.
- As a staff member within the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, you are responsible for knowledge of and compliance with National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) regulations, both those general in nature and those which apply directly to your position’s responsibilities. Strict adherence to all applicable governing policies, procedures, and regulations of the NCAA is required and is a condition of employment.

Revenue Generation
- Build Alumni Relationships in partnership with the Assistant AD for Development
- Support letter writing campaigns and golf outings.  

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
- Basketball coaching at the collegiate level
- Recruiting experience at a collegiate level
- CPR, AED, First Aid
- Experience with Recruiting Software (Front Rush, Synergy, FastDraw and FastSCout preferred
