The advisor serves as primary point of contact for distance students, providing academic guidance, career counseling, and general outreach activities including various retention efforts. The advisor also serves as a liaison between the student and various offices on campus, such as financial aid and veterans’ benefits. The position is physically located on the UW-Platteville campus in Platteville, Wisconsin. The position is an annual appointment. The office hours are generally 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The annual salary is $38,000-41,000, commensurate with experience. |
