Enrollment Communications Specialist

Position Summary:

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville, Office of Admission Welcome Center is seeking applicants for an Enrollment Communications Specialist to assist in the development and maintenance of communications for enrollment purposes. This is a full-time, 12-month position, offering excellent employee benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain enrollment communications
  • Lead and implement communication projects using the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Radius, and texting platform, Mongoose.
  • Be backup power user for CRM
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing department to create content for communications from the CRM
  • Run basic reports, queries, and extract data from CRM for tracking and targeted communications.
  • Manage automated communication plans for special populations including maintenance and daily procedures.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in recruitment/admission and/or communications

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

• Demonstrated ability in successful planning and organizing communication campaigns

• Ability to present information to large and small groups

• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Valid Driver’s license

• Demonstrate attention to detail

• Ability to learn and willingness to use new software/technology

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities

• Experience organizing and prioritizing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
