The Humanities Department's Foreign Languages program at UW-Platteville invites applications for a French lecturer. The foreign language program offers majors in German and Spanish, along with minors in French, German, and Spanish. Students who major in foreign languages find career opportunities in many areas, such as international business, marketing, civil service work, diplomacy, and law enforcement. Often, we need ad hoc instructors to teach on-campus, online, or hybrid courses. 

We are currently looking to establish a pool of candidates to fill ad hoc instructor positions who can teach

  • French 1040-Elementary French I (fall semester)
  • French 2040-Intermediate French I (fall semester)
  • French 1140-Elementary French II and an upper divisional class (spring semester)
