Position Summary:

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville is seeking a Truck & Delivery Driver to assist within our Dining Services department. This position will be responsible for delivering food & goods to multiple stops on a route from origin to destination. The rate of pay for this position is $13.51/hour and is benefit and paid leave eligible. Hours are M-F 830am-1pm (62.5% FTE). 

Responsibilities:

-Shuttle deliveries safely from origin to destination.

-Pick up empty carts and trays and deliver back to origin when necessary.

-Abide by all campus and WI DOT rules and regulations regarding driving, parking, and delivering.

-Provide excellent customer service to all delivery customers, students, and peers.

-Prior experience using time management skills and maintaining a schedule.

-Load/unload trays/cartons safely and accurately.

-Additional duties as assigned. 

-Be an active participant in following applicable safety rules and regulations; including necessary training and drills.

Minimum Qualifications:

-Valid driver’s license

-High school diploma/GED

-Excellent driving history

-Ability to lift 100 pounds safely by using proper lifting techniques
