Position Summary:

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for a variety of human resources activities for multiple functional areas including Payroll, Talent Management, Learning & Development and Leadership Team support.

The HR Coordinator will ensure a high level of customer service and compliance. They will work in partnership with Payroll and Talent Management on data entry and compliance responsibilities. The coordinator will work with the Talent Management team to provide support in exceptional onboarding experiences, manage recruitment postings, and assist with annual contract management. Additional responsibilities will include supporting the HR Leadership team by ensuring record retention compliance, providing project support and data retrieval.

This is a paid leave and benefits eligible position, hourly rate of $18.00-22.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. 


  • Payroll:
    - Employee and funding data entry and data review
    - Employee time entry communications and approver update
  • Talent Management:
    - Personnel File Creation and Maintenance
    - Transcript Entry and Compliance
    - Onboarding Checklist Compliance
    - Offboarding, processing resignations
    - HRS Contract Entry Review
    - Recruitment Postings in PageUp
    - Preferred Name Changes & Directory Update Leadership Team
  • Support & Projects:
    - Record Retention Compliance
    - Project Support
    - Reporting and Audit Data Retrieval
    - Management of Human Resources e-mail account
    - Department Accounts Payable Liaison
    - Event/Training Coordination 

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree; OR 2 years experience in a Human Resources or Office Administrator role
- Excellent time management skills, personal sense of urgency in one’s work, and tendency to be proactive
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills and engagement, able to adapt to a variety of communication styles
- Highly adaptable and able to easily change priorities throughout the day
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, comfortable learning new systems and applications
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook a must;
- Demonstrated workplace professionalism, including a high personal standard for confidentiality
- Ability to promote a positive and productive work environment
