The Pioneer Greenhouse is looking to hire Student Greenhouse and Garden Assistants to help with the daily maintenance of Pioneer Greenhouse and Mansel and Dottie Johns Pioneer Gardens. Students must be self-motivated, able to work 40 hours per week, including weekend/holiday watering rotations.

Maintain the Pioneer Greenhouse and Mansel and Dottie Johns Pioneer Gardens for courses/laboratories, tours, events, and the public, which includes, but is not limited to care of plants in the greenhouse and gardens, watering, pruning, planting, transplanting, weeding, asexual and seed propagation of selected plants, keeping the greenhouse and gardens in an orderly matter, and applying pesticides and herbicides as needed.
